All of your suggestions other than the arm lasers but has been implemented, alpha tested, and will show up in the next beta. I'll defer to VCap on the feasibility of your last suggestion.

Unfortunately Beta #3 only handles all the missions up to number 35 in the initial communication stage. Fuel consumption seems disproportionate to distance travelled. burns incredibly quickly. Fuel usage is extremely proportional to the engine class.
